At the MadridDesignNet event, all participating students, professionals, researchers, speakers and institutions were linked up through the interactive portal www.madriddesignnet.com, which currently embodies the work conducted by 1000 students and professionals in May, and which in the future will operate as a permanent platform for ideas and visions.

It is an on-line global platform that allows for simultaneous work and input, thus creating a highly innovative on-line format that will pave the way for large-scale international involvement by sweeping aside the obstacles and hurdles to hands-on collaboration typically associated with more traditional approaches to work.

Thanks to its very structure, the network has effectively become a hub for both culture and the economy, an open meeting point geared towards modernisation and modern times via creativity, while encouraging new models of learning and cross-collaboration among professionals from different disciplines.
