IED hopes that companies and institutions attending the presentation of the network will look upon the selected projects as prime examples of innovation and as reference points from which to embark on further projects and research.
It is therefore planning a schedule which, running from 9-17 October, will feature exhibitions at both the Bamboo House and the Air Tree (including, in particular, a video on the on-line universe shaped from the visions of hundreds of young creators, and also a system that enables users to find out, in real time, all the open events that a given city is offering), as well as workshops aimed at Chinese businessmen and women and Spanish companies based in China.
Experimental Workshop for Companies
“Business Innovation through Design”
Focusing on innovation and aimed at Chinese and Spanish companies with interests in China.
Carlos Barrabés, Riccardo Marzullo, Felice Morelli and Dario Assante will be directing the workshop.
With the support of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Madrid City Council.
The envisaged programming for MadridDesignNet also includes a conference entitled: “Innovation and Technology in Developing the Cities of Tomorrow”, which will take place at the prestigious Tongji University on 13 October.
